2018 Reading List

I’ve always loved reading, but over the past few years, I’ve taken it to a whole new level! It has become my greatest obsession, aside from the hubs and Jericho. ;) Here are the books I read in 2018. Whether you want to learn something new or just get lost in someone else’s world, I hope this list can inspire you to read a little bit more.

Christmas with The Groves 2018

Hello friends and family, this is Jericho Groves, but my humans call me many different names like: Jimmy Boy, Bears, and Jer Bear, to name a few. I don’t see the appeal, but they love these “pet names.” Anyways, I am the fur baby to Colton and Ashley Groves. They adopted me in September of 2017 and I have been spoiled since. My humans are trying to get me to become more social by introducing me to all the neighborhood kittens, but they scare me too much. I thought writing a letter to some humans would be a safer and less anxiety-ridden experience.

The Groves Family 2015

It only took me 3 years to get our 2015 Christmas photos up on the blog. Better late than never, right? It is 2018 when I'm writing this and I’m amazed at how many things have changed in the past three years (graduating college, moving to Portland, adopting a kitty), but our clothing isn't one of them! I'm slightly embarrassed to admit this, but we both still have these same shirts - and we still wear them!

Anxiety Toolbox

What is one of the first things you do when you realize you need to fix something on your car or in your house? If it isn't, it should be to gather all of the tools you think you will need to repair the problem. You may not use all of the tools, but it helps to have a variety of options to see what works best in that specific situation. Why should managing anxiety be any different? Today I'm sharing what I've put in my anxiety toolbox for times when I need some help returning to a calmer state of mind. I hope that these will help you to create and expand your own toolbox! If you haven't read Part 1 and Part 2 of this anxiety series, go check those out!
